breakfast & after school club

the breakfast & after school club is a progressive web app that allows businesses to manage their breakfast and after school clubs efficiently and with a drastic reduction in paperwork.

business owners can view all of their bookings, users and their users children in easy to view tables.

parents can add or cancel bookings in a few taps using a 'virtual wallet' system.

the app uses a 'virtual wallet'.

the user securely enters their card details after choosing how much that they want to deposit in their wallet.


adding funds to the virtual wallet

using stripe as our payment processor, the funds are then added to the users profile.

they can now book sessions. each time they book a session, the amount in their virtual wallet is deducted by the price of the session.

should they cancel a session, the funds are re-added to their wallet.

if there is not enough in their wallet to book a session, no 'book session' buttons will appear, preventing the user from going 'overdrawn' in their virtual wallet.

the user can then add more funds to their wallet as necessary.


to book a session, customers firstly choose a date.

then, they can see how many sessions are available for that date, updated in realtime!

They then choose a session, and after confirming, the session is booked, added to the users and the app admins booking tables for easy viewing and a confirmation email is sent to the user.

to cancel a session, a user simply taps on the session they want to cancel, reviews the details of the booking and taps the cancel session button.

the cost of the session is refunded to the users virtual wallet and the session spaces are updated in the database.

should another user be booking a session for that day at the same time, they will see the session spaces updated in realtime!

the club owner can manage their whole business from the dashboard.

they can view their bookings, customer list and children details.

they can also:

  • add / cancel bookings manually
  • view / edit their booking closing times
  • view / edit their session times & prices
  • create or delete users / children
  • and more!

a user can also download a PDF of their bookings at the tap of a button.

they simply select the booking they wish to get a PDF of, tap the PDF button and the booking data is compiled into a handy PDf for the users records.
